That pretty much was the example. The code that goes in is:
<br>
<br><head><meta name="viewport" content="width:device-width">
<br></head>

<br>
<br>Is this... simple code, gonna be the topic for this whole thread, or shall someone gonna change ''the topic''..?

Well, with a useless post like that that has nothing to do with the thread topic, you have successfully changed the subject to: unnecessary posting.

First of all, HTML is a markup language, not a scripting language.

Well, you clearly don't even seem to know what you're talking about.

HTML was designed to display data, not store it.

If you wish to use something in lieu of a database, try PHP+jSON+jQuery+Java Script.
That is what I am trying now.

Yes, you can use PHP and HTML together--that's what most people do. But HTML can't have databases, which is what I thought you meant.

The only reason PHP gives you errors is because:

1. Most commonly, a syntax error.

2. Script run time, which cannot exceed 30 seconds.

Using an HTML submission button doesn't alter or effect the PHP code in any way--you must just have syntax errors.

Type something wrong in the PHP, and the whole page will be killed. I guarantee you that HTML isn't a safeguard.

Trust me kid, I'm going to school for this.

I've been working with this stuff for years.

The simplest answer is that website design cannot be conducted solely with a DSi. Closest things are onmbl and wapka.mobi and the like, and most know how very limited and "cookie-cutter", not to mention troublesome, those hosts are.
Catch my drift.

go to http://freehostingnoads.net/ to do it on DSI. after u sighn up, go create FTP ACCOUNT, THEN GO TO FILE MANGER ON AND . Bingo u can code for a site on DsI like i do.

You two do realize that there is a typing limit keeping you from writing longer codes on a DSi, no?

You don't really have to put an entire script in one file you could split it up, like what I do.

WRONG. No matter what, the DSi has a typing limit of like, 1000-1500 characters or something.

Everyone takes a liking to different hosts, the 'best' host would be a paid one, but there are pretty good free hosts.

Oh, and just don't code from a DSi. It will take longer and it's just crappy. Use a computer.
