I think everyone that goes on and on about how the new generations sucks. OHSNAP THE POKEMON ARE WAY DIFFERENT, WHAT A BAD GAME, BAD POKEMON.

So what, they are different, and it will always be that way, things change, and not always because people want it to. Just because sometimes change is needed to add a new feel to it.

I think a lot of the new Pokemon are okay, they are original, but their stats, that's another thing.

I don't agree that the original 150 were the best, because they aren't, and never will be. They are an amazing generation, but I feel all of the Pokemon generations are equal, special in their own way.
I'm going to have to agree. The original 151 weren't some amazingly designed creatures. It's kind of a natural progression for a series like this to seem less original over time, especially when there are a minimum of 100 or so additions to the games per generation.
For me personally, Sapphire was the first game in which I got really into the series, the competitive scene, and even though I thought nearly all of the Pokemon were somewhat dull at the time, I loved 'em.
It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
