Jackson was driving to Grayson's friend Ryan's house. It was not that far.
"Ryan has something cool to give you, Andrew," said Grayson.
"Is it a pencil?" asked Drew.
"Not quite," replied Grayson.
"He has a thing with pencils," Jackson said.
The car stopped in front of Ryan's house.
"At least these houses don't look like garbage!" exclaimed Drew.
The three of them walked to the door. Grayson rang the doorbell.
Ryan's dad, Dan, opened the door.
"Hello, Grayson." said Dan. "Who might those two be?"
"Jackson and Andrew," he replied.
"What's in your house?" asked Drew, wanting to know.
"A lot of stuff," replied Dan.
So Drew, Jackson, and Grayson all went in. The dog was barking.
Drew ran up to the stairs leading to the kitchen. "Ryan's a dog?"
"No," replied Dan. "He's my son."
"He's downstairs," said Grayson.
Grayson led Drew downstairs while Jackson stayed upstairs to talk to Dan.
Ryan was studying when Grayson called his name. "Ryan!"
Ryan turned around. "Oh, hi, Grayson. Where's Jarrett?"
"He's not here right now."
"How did you get here?"
"Some kid from the city drove me." He saw Drew and told him to come. Ryan, this is Andrew."
Drew was towering Ryan by over a foot.
"You're tall!" exclaimed Ryan.
"Everyone says that," said Drew.
Grayson went closer to Ryan to whisper something.
"Grayson told me to show you my room. Let's go."
Ryan's room was small. It had a bunk bed even though he was an only child. Posters of fighter jets were everywhere. There was a table organized with pencils and pens. A walk-in closet was right beside it. The thing that got Drew's eyes glued was the fish mounted on the wall. Below it there were different medals.
"Nice room," Drew commented.
"Thanks," replied Ryan. He went to his closet to grab his gray cap and decided to wear it.
Jackson went downstairs. "You look like a mini-version of my brother," he said.
"Oh!" Ryan realized sonething. "Andrew, I almost forgot. Grayson told me to give this to you."
